Anmar Mechanical and Electrical (CANADA) acquired a majority share-holding in BRS (SOUTH AFRICA) in 2007. This partnership brought about Anmar-BRS Africa. The alliance created a major turn-key project contender within the African markets.
In 2015 Anmar-BRS Africa amalgamated with BEE Refractories to form what we know today as Anmar Construction Africa(PTY) Ltd. This had the effect of enlarging our asset base and further grow the business within Africa.
The need to transform our organisational structures in order to align with the current Mining Charter of 2018 saw Anmar shareholders sell 55% stake to Qaqama Industries a Level 1 BBBEE company. The deal was concluded in September 2018.
